from Liverpool,
UK
Having risen through the ranks of the UK indie world, and having been championed by pop stars and indie icons Natalie recorded 4 EP tracks at the world famous Abbey Road Studios, home of all those phenomenal Beatles hits, and where Pink Floyd recorded their seminal album ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’.
Natalie first became recognised when she won a YAMAHA national song-writing competition judged by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and then went on to have a song-writing session with Sir Paul McCartney while at LIPA university in Liverpool.
Her brand of slick alternative pop has won acclaim from major UK press/media publications including The Sunday Times and Q Magazine, as well as winning acclaim from BBC Radio 1, one of the biggest and most listened-to radio stations in the UK, who described the edgy artist as “one of the finest emerging songwriters around”.
Excelling in razor-sharp alt-pop production Natalie McCool’s new 10 track album “The Great Unknown” has every hallmark of great pop music with a fresh twist of modern alternative influences. Cardiac Arrest, the 2ndtrack from the album, was playlisted by BBC Radio 1. ‘The Great Unknown’ produced by Dave Berger from seminal Liverpool alt-pop band Outfit is available for world-wide release on November 25th 2016.
