Milou & Flint is a German singer/songwriter duo founded in 2013.
Milou & Flint received much acclaim for their debut album “orange to blue” released in May 2015.
Well-known German newspapers praised their courage regarding autonomy and timbre, and described their songs as “campfire romanticism à la Simon & Garfunkel” with “sensuous German lyrics”.
If fact, Milou & Flint have a lot of fun thinking up stories and singing about things that conjure up a smile from their audience and from themselves. Playing fancy tools or tinkering is their specialty, so it can happen again and again that you hear the rattle of a radiator or the rusting of paper bag when you listen closely to their album.
Both are also multi-instrumentalists, playing piano, guitar, a self-made “foot-drumset”, cello, trumpet, melodica and accordion, and many other little surprises- and a lot of them simultaneously.
Live, they are supported by two wonderful guys playing violin, contrabass and vibraphone.
Their unique sound led to the duo being asked to provide the soundtrack to a German movie in January 2016 (Constantin Film).
Following an invitation from a major radio station (SWR, Rhineland Palatinate), the two artists gave an exclusive radio concert in February for the lucky winners of tickets.
With over 40 concerts in 2015, Milou & Flint is continuing down a good and successful musical path.
