Drawing inspiration from the Teke musical tradition of the western basin, the tradi- modern group BANA BATEKE was established on 12 September 2007 in Brazzaville by the musician Alexis Mpinimoba. BANA BATEKE has released 5 albums. Their latest album entitled EZALELI is a musical masterpiece of high artistic technique with remarkable moral significance and ethics. They advocate peace and promote traditional music of Congo.
